meet xavier rudd. how can you not love a musician that plays with a setup like this? short story even shorter, there’s some cut and dry reasons I like him. ready? here we go.
1. he’s australian. their accents are spectacular.
2. he’s the only x on my playlist. makes him easy to find.
3. he plays the didgeridoo & has this song called didge jam that can pull me out of any slump.
4. the song next to didge jam on my iPod is green spandex. (: makes me smile.
5. his music is honest, and straightforward.
6. I constantly forget about him on my playlist, but when I refind him, it’s like finding $20 you didn’t know you had in your jean’s pocket.
7. he’s a remarkable musician that’s definitely not mainstream. haha, well, most mainstream aren’t really remarkable musicians anyways.
8. don’t believe me? watch this. (watch the whole thing. exercise a little patience.)
9. his name is awesome. I mean really, he just sounds like he would be an incredibly interesting person to have tea with.
10. he’s authentically good live. that matters to me.
