engaging the silence of unanswered prayer
there’s a book called God On Mute that’s in the mail and on its way to me (half.com style), and I’m almost trembling with excitement.
I walked into my local Family Christian bookstore the other day to peruse the devotionals, and happened upon it. I opened it and the quote on the title page almost made me start crying. yeah, the title page quote.
all I can say is that I hope that this book’s as good as it looked and felt in the store. I need a little bit of help engaging that silence, and reading a cleverly written book is always on my to-do list. I’m going to pray that this time I can kill two birds with one stone.
I’ll review it after I’m done, and then I’m moving onto my next hopeful, The God Who Smokes: Scandalous Mediation on Faith.
i totally wanna check this book out.
the cover looks intense.
that’s exactly what I said. I’ll tell you if it’s good.
